My favorite pieces from Khaite's new Spring 2025 collection
And some alternatives to get the looks for less.
Khaite’s Spring 2025 collection just made it’s debut at NYFW, and it is good. I really wish Khaite didn’t have the chokehold it does on me, for the sake of my wallet and marriage, but I can’t help it - the cut and aesthetic of their pieces are just exactly the type of silhouettes I love. Classic, flattering, so utterly wearable. If you asked me what one brand I would pick if I could shop at only that brand forever, it would be Khaite. The perfect denim? Check. Lush sweaters? Check. Timeless accessories? Check. Chic evening wear? Check.
The latest collection is a perfect mix of New York toughness and more ethereal, whimsical styles - a blend that Khaite does so well and is part of why the brand appeals to so many people. We saw leather jackets, organza, cropped jackets, silky shirts - everything infused with perfect tailoring and wearability.
As much as I love Khaite, it is undeniably extremely expensive - but that doesn’t mean we can’t all look to the brand for inspiration. Below are my favorite looks and pieces from their latest collection, and some alternative options that achieve a similar look at a more affordable price point.
Cropped jackets
I audibly gasped when I saw this jacket - it is quite literally my dream cropped blazer. The color! The cut! The black detailing! It’s just perfection. It exhibits what Khaite does so well - the blending of androgynous styles with feminine tailoring to create pieces that are so flattering yet casual. The cropped silhouette here shows off the waist, meaning that more petite frames won’t drown in an oversized boxy fit. This jacket can just as easily be thrown over a simple t-shirt and jeans, as it can be worn with a dress/skirt as shown here, and in both cases it would steal the show without looking like you’re trying too hard.

Silk dusters
I love the idea of a silk or satin duster as an alternative to the classic trench for Spring - this version from Khaite is just stunning. I love the vintage feel to it, almost like an old silk robe thrown on top to finish the outfit. You could wear something like this over a dress, or even a t-shirt and jeans, and it would turn heads on any sidewalk.

Organza bonanza
Khaite has been incorporating organza into their styles for a while now, and it looks like it’s not going away anytime soon. What I love about this season is that they’ve become more playful with it, scrunching it into fun, more shapely silhouettes, rather than their earlier, more simple forms. If you’re a fellow Millennial who is forever on the quest to elevate your Going Out Tops, experimenting with organza or skin-peeking fabrics is such a fun and chic way to do it.

Cool pink
Every season, Khaite defines new “it” colors with their unique hues. A few seasons ago, their Orchid pink made a splash on the increasingly black-and-white, Row-dominated fashion landscape, which was almost prophetic coming out right before Barbie summer. This year it’s a cooler pale pink, as shown below. I love how this tone is so subtle, I am sure it will be incorporated into wardrobes almost as a neutral. The funnel neck on the top is so incredibly chic, too - I think we will see a lot more of this asymmetrical style early next year.

Berry Red
Another look that jumped out at me was this deeper, berry red set - the hue is a shift from the brighter, more orangey red that has marked Khaite’s last few seasons. It’s not as deep as a true maroon, which makes it much more wearable for daytime and in warmer seasons. I love this outfit below as a way to take a deeper red shade from Fall/Winter into Spring, with the more casual short-sleeved shirt and billowy pants.

I hope you enjoyed reading - if there are any other Khaite runway looks you loved that I didn’t mention here, I would love to hear them in the comments!
